JVC Announces the Availability of the GS-TD1 the World's First Consumer 3D Camcorder with Full HD
03.07.2011

JVC's announced the availability for purchase of the GS-TD1, the world's first consumer 3D camcorder that records video in full HD. The GS-TD1 is equipped with two, independent, 3.32 megapixel CMOS sensors and two, independent, lenses that capture three dimensional images similar, to the way the human eye does. These images are processed by JVC's new high-speed imaging engine which processes the two images simultaneously at 1920 x 1080i. This new imaging engine also allows you to record in 3D format and conventional 2D at the same time.

Additional features include 64GB of built-in flash memory, SDXC memory card slot, 5x zoom, and a unique automatic Optical Axis image stabilization system for added depth to 3D images. Also featured on the GS-TD1 is a 3.5 inch touch panel LCD 3D display for viewing 3D images directly on the screen without the need for 3D glasses.  The GS-TD1 uses Everio Media Browser software for the management, editing, and easy online sharing of content including the ability to quickly upload and share 3D videos on YouTube.

The JVC GZ-TD1 Full HD 3D camcorder will be available for purchase in March for an announced MSRP of $1,699.95.
