LG Launches First Ever Netbook In US: LG X120
12.03.2009

LG Electronics Mobilecomm (LG Mobile Phones) joins the ranks of the booming netbook industry with the launch of the LG X120. Ehtisham Rabbani, vice president of product strategy and marketing for LG Mobile Phones, said, “We created the LG X120 to allow consumers to stay connected on their own terms.”

The shining feature of the LG X120 is the Smart On™ interface allowing users to quickly and easily access things like vacation photos or picking your fantasy football line-up. Not only that but the LG X120 is not limited to connecting to Wi-Fi hotspots like other netbooks, it employs on-the-go connectivity to the Internet with the AT&T 3G wireless community.
Just like other netbooks, LG does it small. The LG X120 weights a slim 2.8 lbs. and has the power and versatility of a mobile device. Inside runs 1GB RAM and a bountiful 160GB hard drive. Just like most mobile devices, the LG X120 also has a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera. HD stereo speakers deliver clear audio for any video conference or chat session.
