Lexar Announces XQD Memory Cards for Nikon D4 Compatibility

Lexar has announced that in the third quarter of this year it will start selling memory cards supporting the new XQD specifications. The format features high-speed performance with write speeds of up to 125MB/s and is currently only supported by the Nikon D4. Lexar will join Sony as the only manufacturers currently producing cards with XQD specifications.
