Panasonic Announces the Release of the New Super-Tough Lumix DMC-TS3
01.25.2011

Panasonic has announced their newest update to the rugged Lumix TS series cameras. The announced Lumix DMC-TS3 is the third generation in this line of Panasonics rugged and capable outdoor point-and-shoot cameras. With the TS3, Panasonic has enhanced the waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof, and dustproof capabilities of this series of Lumix cameras, taking their toughness to the extreme. Further enhancing the cameras pedigree as the perfect, rugged, 'take anywhere' camera, Panasonic has equipped the TS3 with features such as a compass, built-in GPS capabilities, an altimeter, and barometer.

The Lumix DMC-TS3 will be available in March in red, orange, silver, and blue and pricing will be announced shortly.
