Sony Prepares for Summer with New Digital Imaging Accessories
03.03.2010

With summer vacation season right around the corner Sony announced new developments in its underwater photography line at PMA 2010 in Anaheim, California last week.

Sony's TX5 Cyber-shot certified waterproof camera may be ideal for those unforgettable vacations at the beach, but the deal only got sweeter when Sony announced the LCS-THQ soft carrying case. The LCS-THQ case is made of silicon and prepared specifically to keep the TX5, the world's thinnest and smallest certified waterproof camera with a touch screen, dry and safe. Get your feet and camera wet when this camera case is available in April.

For the even more adventurous and video-savvy, Sony also announced brand-new waterproof additions to their signature camcorders at PMA 2010. Protect your Sony camcorders from rain, snow, dust and sand with the SPK-CXA and SPK-HCF sports packs. With a slight difference in weight and price between them, these packs can be submerged in the pool, ocean, or any other body of water down to 17 feet. And not to mention sound is easily captured with built-in stereo microphones.
